How Do We Reverse "Global Warming?"

Basics:

Fast Science:
There is CO2 in the atmosphere. "The greenhouse effect works like this: Energy arrives from the sun in the form of visible light and ultraviolet radiation.  The Earth then emits some of this energy as infrared radiation. Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere 'capture' some of this heat, then re-emit it in all directions - including back to the Earth's surface. Through this process, CO2 and other greenhouse gases keep the Earth’s surface 33°Celsius (59.4°F) warmer than it would be without them. Unfortunately, we have added 42% more CO2, and temperatures have gone up.

SO the atmosphere has more CO2, and it's getting hotter. Where does the heat go?
Well, 71% of the planet Earth is actually water.
So the heat in the atmosphere is being absorbed by the oceans, and the upper levels of the oceans are getting warmer. Because there is more and more heat in the atmosphere, there is more and more  heat  in the oceans and the heat level is getting deeper in the ocean.
So the hot atmosphere results in an increasingly warming ocean.
