 - Seaweed Biostimulants -
BigGrow

As the Climate disruption grows, it will become increasingly difficult for farmers to grow crops. So the Climate Foundation created from it's Marine Permaculture, seaweed biostimulant to be used on land crops and fish crops.

The Climate Foundation is pleased to share results from our first official rice trial, conducted by the Philippine government as part of the EUP (Experimental Use Permit) approval process for our seaweed-based biostimulant. The Numbers Speak for Themselves

The trial compared rice yields across five different treatment scenarios, and the results were remarkable:
  • No fertilizer, no biostimulant: 2.5 tons per hectare (baseline)
  • Fertilizer only: 4.0 tons per hectare
  • Fertilizer + 10 liters biostimulant: 4.5 tons per hectare
  • Fertilizer + 15 liters biostimulant: 5.12 tons per hectare
  • 15 liters biostimulant only (no fertilizer): 5.06 tons per hectare

The most striking finding? Farmers using 15 liters of biostimulant without any chemical fertilizer achieved virtually the same yield (5.06 tons/hectare) as those using both fertilizer and biostimulant (5.12 tons/hectare)—and dramatically outperformed fertilizer-only plots.
What This Means for Farmers   Farmers using the biostimulant-only approach can expect an extra ton of rice per hectare — worth around $400 — at a product cost of just $150. That's a $250 net gain, plus healthier soils and no chemical fertilizer.
