Sam Zak

Sam is the European Lead for the Climate Foundation. He has been with the organization since January 2019, where he began working on a part-time basis as a collaborator and research assistant. Prior to joining the Climate Foundation, interned at a number of environmental NGOs and think-tanks in Geneva and London.
Sam holds an MSc in Environment & Development from the London School of Economics, with a minor in Environmental Regulation, which he completed in 2020. He wrote his thesis on the various methods of using macroalgae to sequester carbon and their respective prospects. He also has a BA in History from the University of York.
Sam is a Swiss-British national and lives in Geneva. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, swimming, cycling and trying to cook with seaweed.
