John Macdonald

John Macdonald has extensive experience in the fields of architectural design, project and environmental management. He has been a director of the international architectural practice, DesignInc, where he was responsible for the design and delivery of a wide range of projects, including many award winning buildings in the scientific and biotech fields.
John also has particular skills in the application of ecologically sustainable design and energy management. He has published widely, represented awards juries and delivered many conference papers on ecologically sustainable design.
In 2014 he was awarded the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects ‘Leadership in Sustainability Prize’.
John brings a wealth of experience in managing complex projects that is a great asset to the Climate Foundation.
