Jonas Kunz, born in Munich, Germany, is a recent Bard College Graduate. Interested in political decision making process, he has co-founded the B.I.R.D.S. Project at the Hannah Arendt Center in NY, the Governance Lab @Google Berlin and worked on campaign strategy in the European Elections. Looking for a way to address climate challenges in a socially just and ecologically sustainable way, beyond the oftentimes meager impact of political action, he decided to join the work on the singlemost promising organic tool for CO2 drawdown, Marine Permaculture. He is working with Hans Kern on seaweed fermentation and the expansion of marine permaculture in Europe and beyond.
